We offer telehealth consults via Cliniko – our secure client portal for local, interstate, and international clients. You can book a telehealth appointment online or email us directly stating your preference. The day prior to your appointment you shall receive your secure link. All you do is connect to this link 5 mins prior to your appointment and ensure your camera and microphone are working. It is easy and if you need, I can always assist you.
We love flexibility and are always happy to accommodate if you need to change or cancel your appointment. However, we ask to be respectful and provide 24hrs notice. This allows another client from our waitlist to benefit from a treatment. We do request aa deposit at time of booking to secure your appointment. This is nonrefundable and nontransferable if less then 24hrs notice is given to cancel/reschedule or you do not arrive to your appointment.
We have several different treatments available in the clinic ranging from 45 mins – 1.5 hour appointments. Please refer to allocated time for your preferred treatment or consult. If you would like additional time, please let us know and we are happy to discuss
As a registered acupuncturist I am covered with all health funds for you to receive your private health insurance rebate for Acupuncture. We do not have HICAPs facilities at the clinic but through your health fund APP the money is deposited into your bank account the same or next day.
Yes, we certainly can arrange this if needed as longer appoinents are needed.
This is based on your assessment after the first consultation. You are provided with a list of the most appropriate tests to undertake. We use a range of pathology and functional pathology laboratories to ensure you receive the most accurate testing. The cost of any non-Medicare testing is provided to you at your appointment. As we like to Test rather than guess.
Please bring copies of any past test results to your consultations to ensure thorough assessment at your consultation and to prevent unnecessary repetition. If you are having these documents forwarded directly to our clinic, please include a cover letter – Attention: Dr Costa. If you experience any difficulty in obtaining these results, please speak with Cathryn directly in your consultation.
The building has stairs to the clinic room and no lift available. However, we offer telehealth appointments to assist you.
Consultations are GST-exempt, however, all medicines and other prescribed remedies incur GST. We accept credit card (Mastercard, Visa), or direct deposit payments.
Please note that we do not offer accounts and fees are due on the day of the consultation.
